WIGHTMAN CHAPEL is one of the most popular wedding venues in Nashville. Built in 1928, this architectural treasure is on the National Historic Register. It offers a seating capacity for up to 300 people. Wightman Chapel was voted “Best Place To Get Married” in the Tennessean’s 2010 Toast of Music City!
SKINNER CHAPEL is perfect for a small, intimate event with a seating capacity for 20 people.
Both are available to all faiths and denominations.
We also offer full catering facilities, serving delicious fare for alcohol-free receptions, rehearsal dinners, engagement parties and bridal showers. In addition, Scarritt-Bennett has overnight accommodations for your out-of-town guests. Affordably priced residence-hall-style lodging is available for up to 139 people.

Sally at Scarritt Bennett was great! She was very helpful and quick to respond as I was looking into places for my ceremony. Even after signing the contract she was in touch to let me know deadlines and worked with me on the day and time for my bridal shoot. The chapel is gorgeous and with it being Christmas time there were two trees up front so we didn’t even need any other decor. The organ sounded great and Sally gave me information for a great organist. Everything went smoothly and pictures turned our great! That grounds are beautiful and lend to many unique shots. I would highly recommend using Wightman Chapel!
